Compass Nova Scotia is now accepting applications for the Barton School location.
Compass Nova Scotia Co-operative Homes Ltd. (Compass NS) is a non-profit housing cooperative incorporated under the Co-operative Associations Act in Nova Scotia. Compass NS's mission is to sustain, build and grow inclusive housing co-operative communities with the vision to be the housing choice for Nova Scotians who want strong governance and credible management in a thriving co-op community.
The Barton School location consists of four 2-bedroom units, three 1-bedroom units and one barrier-free 1-bedroom unit.

The expected occupancy date is October 1, 2025 (this date could be changed based upon project completion).
The units will be reserved for applicants below the following income limits: 1 Bedroom – $62,500.00* 2 Bedroom – $73,000.00*
*The income limits are based on the current Nova Scotia Income Limits.
The housing charges will be:
1 bedroom – $652.00 (500 sqft to 675 sqft)
2 bedroom – $749.00 (700 sqft to 765 sqft)
Utilities are not included.
