Position Summary:


Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the incumbent will be responsible for ensuring a building is kept in good condition.

Responsibilities:

• Service, clean and perform preventative maintenance and overhaul on all production and plant equipment in bakery
• Troubleshooting skill both mechanical and electric required
• Continually improve equipment function via design improvements
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical/electrical issues
• Fabricate required parts when possible
• Report any problems that could cause substandard quality of production
• Follow all safety procedures
• Prepare, develop and review structured planned maintenance schedules, ensuring that the CMMS system is effectively used.
• Ensure that WO's and shift logs, electrical logbook are correctly completed.
• Coordinate and ensure critical spares to be always made available for focused areas
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 3 years of experience in Maintenance, Industrial Millwright 433A is an asset
• Electrical License 442A and/or 309A and PLC
knowledge is an asset
• Strong mechanical and electrical skills, real hands-on machine maintenance experience
• Knowledge of regulatory codes (building, fire, electrical,
TSSA, etc.)
• Advanced knowledge of blueprints and electrical diagrams
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office is preferred
• Strong communication, analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
• Attention to detail and the ability to work independently


Pay -$30/hr
