One of our valued clients in the furniture manufacturing industry is currently seeking a General Labourer to join their team. This is a hands-on role focused on preparing chairs for finishing and includes light sanding and sealing tasks.

We are only interested in candidates that have experience using a Sander.

Position Overview:
You will be working in a production environment assisting with the sanding and sealing of chairs, as well as performing other general labour tasks as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Sanding wooden chairs in preparation for finishing
Applying sealant to products
Performing other general labour duties as assigned
Qualifications:

Previous experience in woodworking is an asset, but not necessary
Experience with using a sander is required
Must be reliable and able to work in a team environment
Schedule:

Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay:

18.00/h

Location: Markham/Scarborough Border – Hwy 7 & Markham Rd
