This little Hughes & Kettner Tubemeister 18 head is just amazing! First, it sounds great right out of the box, but I took the next step and swapped out the stock tubes for a set of Mesa Boogie tubes and now it really shines! I've paired it with a single 12" Celestion Vintage 30 in an open back cabinet. Super-clean on the clean channel, and great gain on the lead channel. Then to push it over the edge there is a lead channel boost that gives you break up sooner.
