Woodchester Collision; a leader in the auto repair business for 45 years; is looking to add Painters and Preppers to our expanding team.
Responsibilities Include:
• Understanding the required techniques in order to achieve an OEM finish
• Understand how to mix primer and paint through a computerized mixing/measuring system
• Understand and able to practice good shop safety and cleanliness
• Able and willing to attend ongoing training including I-Car and Paint Manufacture specific training
• Able to read and understand a work order
• 5 Years' experience
About the Shop:

Woodchester Collision has been in business since 1977 and have direct relationships with all major insurance companies. We have contracts with the following new car dealers Nissan, Infiniti, Chevrolet, Cadillac, Ford, Mazda, Kia, and Mitsubishi. With all of the new car dealer influence our predominant vehicle age for repair is 2022 . Recently we have expanded our building to accommodate our business growth. We have fully prepared a new age repair facility complete with 2 state-of-the art down draft spray booths. We have a large open prep area with the ability to prep 8-12 vehicles simultaneously. In the prep area there is large side draft air evacuation systems to maintain a clean air environment. We also have multiple DA vacuum systems in order to keep the dust down and increase paint cleanliness.
Who we're looking for:
We're looking for skilled technicians who have experience working with late model vehicles and prepping/painting to an OEM refinish. We are a shop who expects a factory type refinish. This means all vehicles that enter the prep/paint department will be completely torn down in order to achieve the best finish possible. We are looking for painters, preppers, or painter/preppers who have at least 5 years of experience working in a production facility.

Unlike other shops, we have many partners driving business to our front door. At any given time of the year we have a minimum wait time of 1-2, sometimes ever 3 weeks, this means that there are NO “slow periods”. This is a team environment with many parties working together in order to achieve our end goal, so a positive attitude and ability to work well with others is a must. We are seeking individuals looking for a long term placement
