KOSTER'S BAKERY is a well-know, family owned and operated bakery in Picture Butte, Alberta which has proudly served the southern Alberta community with fresh, high quality baked goods for 34 years. We take pride in our tradition of craftsmanship and commitment to excellence as we produce our large variety of breads, buns, donuts, cakes and pastries for our valued customers.

We are seeking a BAKER'S ASSISTANT to join our production team to assist with all areas of production.
HOURS: Tuesday through Friday 3:00 AM-11:00AM
Saturday 2:00AM-10:00AM
WAGES: Based on experience and education

As a BAKER'S ASSISTANT your responsibilities will include:
-Preparing and baking a large variety of breads, buns, donuts, cakes and pastries according to established formulas and procedures.
-Processing doughs
-Frying donuts made from scratch.
-Filling, icing and presentation of donuts and other baked goods.
-Ensuring consistency, quality and presentation of all products.
Ensuring all food preparation meets safety and sanitation standards.
-Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the production areas, equipment and tools.
-Assisting with inventory management of baking ingredients and supplies.

The ideal candidate will possess:
-Previous experience as a baker in a bakery setting. However,
WE ARE WILLING TO TRAIN AN ENTHUSIASTIC CANDIDATE
-Graduate of a Baking Program an asset.
-A passion for baking and creating unique products that enhance customer satisfaction.
-Knowledge of food safety practices with the bakery environment,
-Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-faceted environment while maintaining high-quality products
-Willingness to work early mornings and weekends.
