Weekend support needed – West Pickering
An affable gentleman in his late fifties, who is also a well-regarded neighbor and tenant in a cooperative housing community, is looking for caregiving support in his home.
He enjoys nature and all its beauty, including bird watching. He has been a long-time supporter of local orchestra, loves live music and attending local community events.
Responsibilities include:
• Meal preparation & light housekeeping
• Administering of medication
• Attending local events
• Personal care
No experience necessary~ training and orientation is provided that will ensure you are well equipped to meet this gentleman's particular support needs.
The candidate will be part of a team, and will come to see how this gentleman has, through his gifts and contributions has made his community a better one and a more inclusive one.
Hours required:
Various weekend times, daytime, evening and overnights.
Compensation: $21/hr (this is an independent contract position)
• Candidate must have a current CRC vulnerable Persons document.
• Candidates preferred will have a full Ontario drivers' license, clean abstract and reliable vehicle.
