1966 Avion Sportsman in original condition save for a new fridge, floor covering and toilet. Exactly 18'4” from nose to tail. The shortest Avion made. Has factory optional insulation and furnace (works) for winter camping. Also has 12V compressor which pressurizes the fresh water holding tank for camping off grid. Hot water heater, new Norcold 3-way fridge, new Dometic porcelain toilet, new indoor/outdoor carpet tile on original plywood floor, and new curtains. One of the two 30lb propane tanks was re-certified last year. New regulator and lines to splitter replaced. This work, as well as testing of the hot water heater and installation of the fridge was done by Fennel's RV Repair in Colwood. Awning works and sewer connection and freshwater hookup hoses are new. New Goodyear Endurance trailer tires (the only trailer tires made in North America). Wheel bearings new and electric brakes work (checked by a mechanic). Trailer weighs approximately 2000 lbs dry. Can be towed by an SUV. We towed it with our Jeep Cherokee. Comes with original factory manual. It was originally purchased in Regina and then moved to Kamloops where it was stored indoors (and covered) for many years until we purchased it 3yr ago. We purchased it 3yr ago. Trailer is located on Pender Island, a short 40 min ferry ride from Swartz Bay.
