On offer is a wonderful beautiful fantastic mahogany dining room table that has hosted our family gatherings for decades. Unfortunately we are moving to another country and cannot take it with us and it breaks out hearts. Age – We brought this with us from Cape Town 30 years ago and I don't know it's origins before that. My best guess is that it is a turn of the century antique and English made, or it could be Scandinavian. I have seen others that are MCM versions so I am unsure it's exact age.

Features – It has two strong formal pedestal bases (brass clawfoot toecaps), and is extendable with a leaf form from 73 inches all the way to 96 inches. It measures 40 inches wide. There is a simple but beautiful swirl pattern carved around the edges and a banded edge below. The table is made of a deep rich mahogany wood with beautiful grain pattern.

Condition – Please note that there is some crackling/chipping on the veneer just from decades of usage. Either enjoy it as natural patina, or this would make an incredible restoration project that could be sold for thousands of dollars afterwards. Some work on this as a project could restore it to something that will make it a showpiece / focus of attention for a room. I'm offering it as overall ‘fair/good' condition with an understanding that it's probably 100 years old and has enjoyed use and built decades of memories for my family.
