The Role:
As the Chief Technology Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing the technological direction of the company and ensuring that our technology strategy aligns with business goals. You'll be instrumental in developing, implementing, and maintaining state-of-the-art systems and solutions to drive business success.
Responsibilities:
• Strategic Leadership: Lead the technology vision and strategy, aligning with the company's mission and business goals.
• Innovation & Product Development: Drive product innovation, create e-commerce, iOS and Android based systems, and ensure the company's technological edge in the market.
• Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing tech team while promoting a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
• Technology Roadmap: Develop and execute the technology roadmap to support growth, scalability, and operational efficiency.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with the executive team, investors, and key stakeholders to drive strategic technology initiatives.
• Infrastructure & Security: Oversee the development and implementation of secure, scalable, and efficient technology infrastructure.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Chief Technology Officer, CTO, or similar leadership role in a high-growth company. OR recent graduate of a technology focused post secondary institution.
• Strong knowledge of current technological trends and digital transformation.
• Expertise in software development, system architecture, cloud technologies, and cybersecurity.
• Demonstrated success in building and leading high-performing engineering teams.
• Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred).
• Fluency in English
