Position: Electrical Technician

PRIMARY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Read drawings, schematics, diagrams and work orders in order to determine job instructions
Build and assemble electrical components
Install electrical wires in in components and HVAC units
Perform electrical testing, troubleshooting and isolation of faults on high and low voltage
components

Ensure that client quality standards and met and maintained
Issue accurate and timely reports as required
Follows "Safety First" philosophy
Maintain clean and organized working area
Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:

Post Secondary education in electrical engineering; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum 1-2 years of experience testing and troubleshooting high and low voltage lines within a manufacturing environment
Ability to read schematics and electrical drawings
Ability to use hand and pneumatic tools
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Excellent problem solving and time management skills with a hands on approach to problem
resolution

Excellent interpersonal skills with strong written and verbal communication skills
Team player with a positive "Can Do" attitude
Superior organizational skills
Working knowledge of safe work practices
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.40 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
