Welder (TIG) - Concord, Ontario
Position: Welder (TIG )
Location: Langstaff rd. & Jane St, Concord, ON
Pay Rate: $24 – $29 per hour (based on experience)
Work Schedule: 06:30 AM – 03:30 PM (Mon - Thurs) & 06:30 AM – 02:30 PM (Fri)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Welder with strong fabrication and fitting experience to work with
stainless steel components. The ideal candidate will be capable of working independently with
minimal supervision, interpreting complex engineering drawings, and delivering high-quality welds
that meet strict specifications.

Responsibilities:
• Lay out, fit, and fabricate stainless steel components for structural forms, equipment, and pressure
vessels
• Interpret and analyze engineering drawings and specifications to plan welding and fabrication
operations
• Position, align, and secure parts using measuring tools such as calipers, rulers, and squares
• Perform TIG welding on components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions
• Tack-weld and assemble components as per specifications
• Cut materials using saws, shears, or plasma cutting equipment
• Inspect welds and surfaces using testing methods such as hydrostatic testing, X-ray, and
dimensional checks
• Measure and verify tolerances using micrometers and precision instruments
• Grind, file, and finish metal surfaces to remove imperfections
• Heat, form, and shape stainless steel parts using hand tools
• Develop jigs and fixtures to support fabrication and assembly processes
• Install, repair, or modify fabricated components as required
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a TIG Welder, preferably with stainless steel
• Strong fitting skills (mandatory)
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Knowledge of welding techniques, metallurgy, and fabrication processes
• Familiarity with measuring tools and quality inspection methods
• Ability to work in various welding positions

Qualifications:
• Experience in pressure vessel fabrication
• Welding certification (CWB or equivalent is an asset)
