Selling for a friend. I don't think it was used very much, if at all. The '83' on the bottom indicates the year of manufacture. It has a small dent at the bottom on one side. See the sixth picture. And the lid seems to sit a little on the loose side on the pot. If you Google these pots, you will see just how much they are priced. Here's an example that is taller than the one I have:
