Position Summary

Silver Valley Farms Ltd. is a fast paced, high-volume farm and fruit packing facility in Maple Ridge. We are currently seeking for a full time Frozen Production Lead. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, reliable and responsible.

Responsibilities
• Assist in planning, scheduling and management of production tasks.
• Ensure that final product meets quality standards.
• Ensure production resources and assets are used efficiently and correctly.
• Oversee training of new production workers and their task assignments.
• Troubleshoot production issues in a timely manner, POC for production staff.
• Acting machine operator backup
• Reporting abnormalities observed in production areas or equipment.
• Keeping work areas and equipment clean and in order
• Maintaining production records
• Clean machines and immediate work areas
• Informing the supervisor of any mechanical malfunctions that arise
• Leading the packaging line staff to ensure production quotas.
• Observing safety rules, procedures and (GMP) Good Manufacturing Practices at all times.
• Complies with all safety rules, procedures, and work practices. Report all safety incidents.
• Any other tasks assigned by Production Manager.

Qualifications:
• Post-secondary degree, diploma or certificate in a related field.
• 2 years supervisory/production experience in soft fruit industry or food processing industry
• Experience in and proven understanding of food safety environments.
• Excellent problem solving, leadership and communication skills.
• Good verbal and written communication (English).
• Own transportation.

Other:
• Full time – 2-year duration
• Estimated start date: May 1, 2026
• Wage: $22 - $24 hourly based on experience and qualifications.
