Looking for a journeyman farmer/farmhand to join our mixed farm operation located northwest of Arborg, Manitoba. We have a medium sized grain farm and a cow-calf operation. We also keep leafcutter bees for alfalfa seed production.

Full-time position starting May 1, 2026 until freeze up in fall (November). Wages range from $16.50 - $27.00 an hour depending on experience. Opportunity for part time hours throughout the winter if wanted.

We are willing to train the right individual to:
- Operate farm machinery including, tractors, combines and swathers
- Assist with repairing machinery and performing basic maintenance
- Clean equipment
- Assist in treating, sorting and checking cattle

Applicants should:
- Have good communication skills
- Be able to work independently
- Be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Be able to work long hours during seeding and harvest
- Be able to work occasional weekends
- Not be afraid to ask questions!

Skills that would be an asset:
- Class 1 or 3 drivers licence
- Farming experience
- Repair experience

This position is open to youth who have an interest in farming. If you are a youth applying, you do not need a Class 5 drivers licence, but will need a reliable way to come to work.
