Job Description
Access Bridgeworks Inc. owns and operates two under bridge inspection units (snooper trucks). We rent these trucks to various engineering and contracting clients across Western Canada, with most of the work in Alberta and BC.

We are seeking a Snooper Truck Driver / Operator to join our team. This position involves driving and operating specialized under bridge access equipment to support bridge inspections, maintenance, repairs, and construction projects across Western Canada. This work is part time.

The successful candidate will be responsible for safely driving, setting up, and operating snooper trucks, working closely with engineers, inspectors, contractors, and field crews. This role requires a focus on safety, professionalism, and attention to detail, as much of the work is completed on active roadways and around bridge structures.

Key Responsibilities
• Safely drive and operate under bridge inspection trucks (snooper trucks)
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and routine equipment checks
• Work with bridge inspectors, engineers, and construction crews to provide safe access beneath bridge structures
• Assist with minor equipment maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting
• Complete driver logs, inspection records, and other required documentation
• Follow all company safety procedures, provincial regulations, and project requirements
• Travel to project sites, the majority of which will be out-of-town work

Qualifications
• Valid Class 1 or Class 3 driver’s licsence with air brake endorsement
• Minimum of 3 years of insured commercial vehicle experience
• Clean commercial driver’s abstract
• Experience operating heavy trucks
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to identify basic maintenance issues
• Strong commitment to safety and safe work practices
• Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions
• Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including occasional night work
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well with clients and field crews
