Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Framing Carpenter to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in wood framing, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment.

Job Duties:
The main responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Build and install framing components, including architectural features, roof systems, and detailed structures
Construct decks with custom sloping and complete layout work such as chalking out suites
Stand walls, build floors, and install windows and structural components
Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and lightweight steel
Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, moldings, and hardware
Perform maintenance, repairs, and renovations of residential and commercial structures
Safely operate hand and power tools
Work at heights, including on aerial lifts, while following fall protection protocols
Collaborate effectively with other trades and team members on-site

Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Framing Carpenter or similar role
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and tools
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions
Knowledge of workplace safety practices, including fall protection
Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials
Strong teamwork and communication skills

7:00am – 5:00pm Monday to Friday
$36 per hour
