Shuttle Driver - McCoy Bus Service, eastern Ontario's most diverse passenger transportation company, has an immediate need for a driver at our shuttle service in downtown Ottawa. It's rare to have someone leave this position but we need to fill a vacancy as soon as possible. You must have an Ontario Driver's License CLASS: B, C or F or a Quebec CLASS 4B. If you don't have the correct License CLASS, please don't apply. This van shuttle service is to move our client's employees between two office buildings in downtown Ottawa and Vanier and will operate Monday to Friday with no nights or weekends. There is free parking for staff vehicles. The service will require the driver to work 3 shifts one week, 4 shifts the next week for 7 days in a 2 week pay-period. The times each day are approximately 6:30am to 5:30pm with appropriate breaks. The schedule is prepared for 3 months in advance and the days of the week vary but no nights or weekends. The pace of the service is not high-pressure or stressful. The rate of pay is $274 per day plus holiday pay. This service is provided using 14 passenger Ford Transit vans which are very comfortable, air conditioned and easy to drive. The successful applicant must be neat in appearance, have a clean and safe driving record and must have a CLASS “F”, “C” or “B” license in Ontario or a CLASS 4B in Quebec. Applicants must be able to read and write English and conversational French would be an asset - but not required.
