We are a business that is focused on delivering great customer service by providing our customers with accurate, timely and efficient refunds on their return of deposit bearing beverage containers to our establishment. Pub’s owners believe in the importance of environmental stewardship and are keen advocates for additional waste reduction initiatives. Pub's applauds every person, organization, and/or business who helps New Brunswick keep deposit bearing beverage containers out of New Brunswick’s landfills and any initiatives that help keep environmental waste to a minimum.

Job Title: Redemption Center employee
Job Location: 346 Rothesay Ave, Saint John NB.

Job Description:
This job is physical in nature and requires you to be able to be on your feet for at least 8.5 hours per day. Your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

-Processing customer orders which includes opening containers with customer orders
-Sorting, counting, and properly inventorying refundable containers
-Maintaining accurate product counts in your head & entering amounts into our computerized system
-Learning, recognizing, and remembering various refundable containers (gets easier with practice)
-Properly tagging, and pulling inventory bags into storage (if required)
-Lifting 25 to 50 lbs
-Communicating politely and professionally with customers if required
-Handling cash (if required)

A qualified applicant will possess the following skills/traits:

-Good math skills
-High learning agility
-Good communication skills
-Ability to prioritize
-Sound judgement and not afraid to speak up if they have questions
-Good spatial awareness
-Be physically fit
-Ability to deal appropriately with customer complaints if necessary

Current hours of operation are as follows:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday (8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.)
Saturday (8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.)
Wednesday & Sunday (Closed)
