Looking for a Community Connector, someone who is easy going and can talk with ease to people, to come alongside a young man who has ADHD tendencies and some memory issues, but functions independently. Needs someone to help him adjust to living on his own and the responsibilities of taking on a job (P/T jobs for now) and to come alongside him in regards to making a simple meal or two (labeling in the fridge with best before dates), reminders re dish duty, laundry and, garbage/recycling etc. Someone to listen and take an interest in checking in on him. To encourage walking. Perhaps someone with a dog in North Oshawa, just North of Durham College who would enjoy walking their dog with him or allowing him to walk your dog. Someone to encourage his aspirations ... a mentor of sorts. If you like to talk about cars and anything mechanical this would be a bonus. He loves all kinds of music too.
