This position is responsible for the accurate cutting and preparation of materials according to the
requirements of work orders, drawings and patterns, for sewing by the sewing department.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 Receiving work orders from the Sales Division - cutting material according to work order specifications
and ensure that all orders are sent to the sewing department in a timely manner.
 Work closely with the Sewing Division Team Leader to ensure that all deliveries are met
 Maintaining accurate inventory of fabric and related materials and monitoring quality by looking out for
defects in materials.
 Ensure that Purchasing (?) is informed promptly when inventory in your area of responsibility is low so
that material can be ordered in a timely manner.
 Taking responsibility for work done by double-checking work for accuracy and ensure quality control
and signing the work order.
 Report to Dave or Jaime with any questions regarding cutting.
