LOOKING FOR A "FUR-EVER" LOVING HOME FOR DEXTER

​It breaks my heart to do this, but due to a move and personal circumstances, I am looking for a very specific, loving, and experienced home for my boy, DEXTER!! Dexter is a 16-month-old powerhouse—a unique Cane Corso / Dogo Argentino / Staffie / Bully mix. He currently weighs about approx.. 70lbs and is still growing! He is a truly GREAT dog who is full of life. When he’s in the mood, he’s incredibly affectionate, and nothing makes him happier than a long walk followed by his favorite treats.

The Details
​Age: 16 months (still a puppy at heart!)
​Weight: ~70 lbs (and getting bigger).
​Status: Not neutered.
​Personality: Playful, active, and sweet.

​What Dexter Needs:
​Dexter is a powerful breed and needs a leader who understands him. Because he is not yet neutered, he has a lot of "teenage" built up energy and he unfortunately does have a history of resource guarding (food & toys), therefore he needs someone who knows the breed and will take the time out to work on these issues..

​His perfect match will be someone who:
​-Knows the Breed: Experience with Mastiffs or Bully breeds is a must.
​-Is a Confident Leader: Someone who can provide firm, consistent structure and "show him who’s boss" in a positive, dominant way.
​-Is Committed to Training: He needs someone with the time and patience to work on his manners and resource guarding.
​-Environment: A home with no small children is required but he is good with older kids (He absolutely loves kids, but due to his size being around smaller young children isn't recommended as he sometimes jumps up). He does get along quite well with other dogs, but hasn't really been around cats..

Dexter has so much potential to be the ultimate loyal companion for the right person.
