Job Description:
Virginia Road Farms seeks a skilled Carpenter to construct, repair, and maintain farm buildings, storage structures, fences, sheds, racks, and customer areas. Work includes framing, renovations, finishing, structural carpentry, and farm infrastructure maintenance. All work must meet safety standards.
Requirements:
Red Seal Carpenter or equivalent
Minimum 3-5 years experience in carpentry
General farm work experience
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
Experience to calculate Materials and costs
Advaned Mortise and Tenon skills required
Physically capable of heavy outdoor work
Strong attention to detail and work ethic
Work Conditions: Outdoor, physically demanding, lifting, bending, standing, kneeling.
