Job Title: Personal Support Worker (PSW) – Live-in Shift

Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and physically capable Personal Support Worker (PSW) for a live-in position supporting a male client in Richmond Hill, ON. The role involves personal care, companionship, light housekeeping, mobility support, and specific clinical and lifestyle assistance.

Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with personal hygiene and grooming (bathing, dressing, oral care)
* Provide catheterization care (must have prior hands-on experience)
* Administer medications as scheduled and follow medication routines
* Prepare and serve meals according to dietary requirements
* Assist with mobility and support physical exercises
* Provide companionship and emotional support
* Assist the client with cigar smoking when required (candidate must be comfortable with this)
* Perform light housekeeping (cleaning, laundry, organizing)
* Accompany client to appointments, gym visits, and social outings
* Monitor and document changes in condition or behavior
* Communicate with healthcare professionals when necessary
* Support meal planning and nutrition management
* Engage client in recreational activities
* Maintain a safe and secure living environment
* Run light errands and shopping if needed

Shift Details:
* Live-in position – overnight stay required
* Friday 9:30 AM – Saturday9:30 AM
* Saturday 9:30 AM –Sunday 9:30 AM
* Breaks provided during the shift

Pay Rate:
* $162 per day (Gross)
* $324 per week

Candidate Requirements:
* PSW certification or equivalent caregiving experience preferred
* Must have experience in catheterization
* Must be comfortable assisting the client with cigar smoking
* Physically capable of assisting with transfers and mobility
* Prior experience in live-in or long-shift care roles
* Compassionate, dependable, and professional
* Preference: Filipino nationality, middle-aged applicants
