We are an asset-based trucking company located in Mississauga and are currently looking to hire a full-time Safety & Compliance Officer to join our team.

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of experience in safety and compliance within the trucking industry
Proven ability to maintain and improve safety scores (CVOR & DOT)
Experience in training and onboarding new drivers
Strong knowledge of:
MTO regulations
DOT & Hours of Service (HOS) rules
Drug & Alcohol policies
Ability to apply for trucking permits
Experience handling MTO and DOT audits

Responsibilities:

Monitor and improve company safety performance
Ensure compliance with all provincial and U.S. regulations
Conduct driver training and safety meetings
Maintain accurate compliance records and documentation
Prepare and manage audits
