Job Opportunity: Maintenance Manager (Residential & Hospitality)
We are seeking a versatile and hands-on Maintenance Manager to oversee the upkeep of two distinct properties within the same town. This role is ideal for a proactive individual who excels at both high-level property management and technical, "boots-on-the-ground" maintenance work.
The Role
You will split your expertise between a 53-unit townhome complex and a local motel, ensuring both properties remain in peak condition while providing a seamless experience for residents and guests alike.
Key Responsibilities
1. Townhome Maintenance Management (53 Units)
• Perform and oversee all general maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs.
• Manage the long-term maintenance schedule for the complex.
• Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs or upgrades.
2. Motel Maintenance & Operations
• Directly manage the daily maintenance requirements of the motel.
• Oversee a small team to ensure high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
• Ensure the property is secure and fully compliant with all safety and health regulations.
Job Opportunity: Motel Manager
We are looking for a dedicated and organized Motel Manager to take full ownership of our hospitality operations. You will be the face of the property, responsible for everything from financial tracking to guest relations.
Key Responsibilities
• Daily Operations: Oversee all daily motel activities, including managing staff and ensuring the property is clean and secure.
• Guest Services: Provide excellent customer service, handle inquiries, and resolve guest complaints or emergencies promptly.
• Front Desk Management: Handle bookings, answer phone calls during business hours, and manage the check-in/check-out process.
• Morning Turnover: Personally manage the daily checkout process between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM.
• Financial Administration: Track income and expenses, manage inventory levels, and ensure the business stays within budget.
• Compliance: Ensure the property consistently meets safety, health, and hospitality industry standards.
Qualifications for Both Roles
• Proven experience in property management or hospitality.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Basic financial literacy (for the Managerial role) or technical trade skills (for the Maintenance role).
