Order Entry & Billing Specialist

Our client is looking for a Data Entry Specialist
Data Entry Specialist requires strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Enter and process customer orders accurately into the system, ensuring all details (rates, lanes, equipment, and special instructions) are correct
Monitor shipments and provide real-time updates to customers and internal teams
Reconcile discrepancies between dispatched loads and billing records
Communicate with customers regarding order status, rate confirmations, and billing inquiries
Ensure compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and industry regulations
Qualifications:
Previous experience in dispatching department, logistics, or transportation operations preferred
Strong data entry and administrative skills with high attention to detail is a must
Experience with TMS (Transportation Management Systems) and billing platforms is an asset
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines in a high-volume environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
Knowledge of freight rates, lanes, and industry terminology is an asset
Ideally transportation Industry and/or Logistics experience are an asset
Location: Kitchener
Monday - Friday 9am-6pm or 8am-5pm
Salary - $20-$25/hr depending on experience
This is a permanent position and direct hire.
