Lead Hand – Landscaping / Hardscaping (Full-Time)

Position Overview:
We are looking for a reliable, skilled Lead Hand to run crews on-site and ensure jobs are completed efficiently, safely, and to a high standard. This is a leadership role for someone who takes pride in their work and can keep a team moving.

Responsibilities:

* Lead and manage a small crew on job sites
* Read and execute landscape designs and plans
* Ensure quality control on all installs (pavers, walls, grading, etc.)
* Coordinate materials, tools, and daily tasks
* Train and guide crew members
* Communicate with the owner and occasionally clients
* Maintain a clean and safe job site

Requirements:

* 2 years experience in landscaping or hardscaping
* Strong knowledge of paver installation, base prep, and grading
* Ability to run equipment (skid steer, plate compactor, saws, etc.)
* Valid driver’s license (clean abstract preferred)
* Leadership skills and strong work ethic
* Ability to work long days in outdoor conditions

* Experience with retaining walls and outdoor kitchens
* Machine operating experience
* Ability to read drawings and elevations
* Trailer hauling experience
