Welcome to Sprouts and Roots Childcare

With over 15 years of experience, our cozy, home-based program is ready to welcome a few new little friends into our care.

We offer full-time spaces, Monday to Friday, with openings available starting May 4, 2026.
We also have openings in June and July.

Conveniently located in Half Moon Bay, just minutes from the 416, making drop-off and pick-up easy for busy families.

At Sprouts and Roots, we focus on creating a calm, nurturing environment where young children can feel safe, loved, and supported as they grow. Our smaller setting allows for lots of one-on-one attention, helping each child build confidence, friendships, and independence at their own pace.

Wholesome, home-cooked meals are prepared fresh daily, with a focus on nutritious ingredients and minimal processed foods—just like home.

We love getting outside! Whether we’re exploring nearby parks or caring for our own little garden, children have the opportunity to connect with nature, learn where food comes from, and enjoy hands-on experiences every day.

Our main floor is set up as a bright and engaging play and learning space, while quiet, separate sleeping areas upstairs provide a peaceful place for rest and recharge.
