Crayon Academy Inc requires a Full Time/part time Early Childhood Educators to join our team.

The successful candidate will follow the programs policies to maintain and enhance the Centre’s reputation for excellence. We are an inclusive centre and this position may be responsible to work with children with special needs. This role requires a team oriented approach to work complemented by strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to form collaborative relationships with children, families, peers and community resources.

Salary: Based on experience and education.

About the Ideal Candidate:

• Completion of a certificate program in Early Childhood Education.
• Ability to create unique and innovative learning experiences and environments
• Above average ability to work independently, multi-task, time management, and organizational skills.
• Flexible, patient, professional, prompt and reliable attendance at work
• Creative, enthusiastic, neat and appropriate personal appearance and attire
• Valid Vulnerable Sector Search and Criminal Record Check (for applicants over the age of 18) plus current First Aid and CPR Certificate and Food Safe within 6 months of employment.
Promotes ethical practices and attitudes
Working knowledge of:
o Alberta Child Care Licensing Regulation


*Minimum Childcare Assistant (Level 1) Certificate required*
