Field Supervisor/Site Foreman

43 Fernwood St, White City, SK S4L 0C9, Canada, Regina
Posted 1 day ago
Description
This isn't a job for someone looking for ordinary.

Rock Hammer Industries has spent 20 years building some of the most ambitious and detailed outdoor living projects in Saskatchewan — custom hardscape, outdoor kitchens, fireplaces, water features, pools, and full landscape construction. We don't cut corners. We don't do average. And we're growing.
We're looking for a Field Supervisor and Lead Foreman who can run a crew, hold a standard, and care about the finished product the way an owner does. If you need to be managed, this isn't the role for you. If you manage yourself and inspire the people around you to do the same — read on.

What You'll Actually Be Doing

You'll be the on-site leader of Rock Hammer's field operations. That means you start the day knowing exactly what needs to happen, you put the right people in the right positions to make it happen, and you finish the day with work you're proud to put your name on.
You'll be working directly alongside the owner on complex, high-end projects. You'll be trusted with timelines, material management, crew direction, client communication on site, and quality control from first dig to final walkthrough. You'll also play a key role in onboarding and mentoring new crew members as we grow.
This role requires a valid Saskatchewan driver's license. You will be operating company vehicles and trailers. This is non-negotiable.

The Work

Paving stone patios, pathways, and feature walls
Custom outdoor fireplaces and fire features
Outdoor kitchens and entertainment structures
Water features — ponds, fountains, rivers, waterfalls
Pool and hot tub excavation and surround construction
Sauna and wellness installation (growing division)
Softscape, sod, irrigation, lighting
Site prep, grading, drainage
If you've done most of this — great. If you've done some of it and you learn fast and work hard — we want to talk.

Who You Are

You show up early and you're not done until it's right. You take pride in craft — the kind where you notice the small things that most people walk past. You communicate clearly with both the crew below you and the owner beside you. You can read a plan and also think on your feet when the plan needs to adjust. You treat the client's property with respect from the first day to the last. You're the kind of person who, when something goes wrong, figures out the solution before you call it a problem.
You do not complain. You do not cut corners when no one is watching. You understand that a finished project reflects on every person who touched it.
You have a valid Saskatchewan driver's license and a clean abstract. This is the foundation everything else is built on.

What Rock Hammer Offers

Competitive wages — based on experience, paid to be fair and to keep good people
Full-time, year-round employment — we are actively building year-round capacity
A company that invests in quality equipment, proper materials, and doing things right
Direct access to ownership — you are not a number here
Growth — we are expanding and the right person grows with us
A culture that rewards reliability, craft, and genuine care for the work

Experience & Requirements

Minimum 5 years in landscaping, hardscape, or construction — with at least 2 in a supervisory or lead role
Valid Saskatchewan driver's license — Class 5 minimum, Class 3 or 1 an asset
Clean driver's abstract — required
Experience operating equipment (skid steer, mini-excavator) considered a strong asset
Ability to read site plans and translate them to field execution
Strong communication — with crew, with clients, with ownership
Physically capable and comfortable working outdoors in all Saskatchewan seasons
