The Godin A4 Ultra Natural Fretless Semi-Acoustic Bass is a semi-acoustic A4 bass with a:
-two-chambered Canadian Laurentian Basswood body;
-Solid Spruce top;
-Hard Rock Maple neck;
-Richlite fingerboard;
-top-mounted thumb rest to ensure a comfortable playing position.
-two-voice pickup system and on-board controls.

The player can use the:
-low-profile Lace Sensor magnetic pickup (“modern and dynamic sound”)
-individual LR Baggs bridge saddle transducers (“authentic acoustic double bass sound”).

Magnetic pickup sounds are controlled by volume and tone knobs mounted on the side of the body.

The LR Baggs saddle transducers are controlled by a custom-designed top-mounted preamp.

Ergonomic sliders allow you to adjust:
-volume;
-treble EQ;
-mid EQ;
-bass EQ;
-saturation control to give your tone more warmth.

‘Fat switch’ selector provides mid-low boost (reinforces the presence).
The A4 has two individual output jacks as well as a combined ‘mix’ output for added versatility.
