I’ve been a professional moving contractor for over 7 years, completed hundreds of moves all across Canada (originally from Alberta) but now service Toronto and the GTA (Markham, Oakville, Newmarket, Oshawa, Whitby, etc). 1) ► Moving Management Flat-Rate (Full-Package): $300
This is a complete, in-person moving-prep service. I handle the thinking so you don’t pay for chaos on moving day. It includes:

-A detailed walkthrough of your home with an accurate time (i.e cost) estimate for any mover you hire (no wild guesses, after hundreds of moves, I can accurately predict it because I’ve seen it all);

-A customized staging and preparation plan: what to pack first, how to position furniture for fastest loading, and exactly what to have ready;

-Hands-on packing and prep work (within the package scope; additional hours available at a tiered rate if needed);

-Your personal “red flag” checklist to vet movers: what to demand in writing, which fees to refuse, and how to make sure they protect your floors, walls, and belongings;

This consulting & preparation package pays for itself by preventing double-trip charges (i.e movers fail to make it all fit), damages, and the stress of dealing with unprofessional crews. I’ll spend up to a full day with you ensuring everything is move-ready. If you need more, we can add hours easily.

2) ► Independent Professional Movers (IPM) Full Moving Service
You can skip the uncertainty entirely and have me do the entire move process. As a contractor, I bring the exact same high standards I preach:

-Expect me to treat your home/belongings like they were my own (i.e, floor protection, no knicks or dents to walls, no damages, polite and pleasant crew, efficient, transparency and honesty);

-Strategic truck loading so the job is done in one trip;

-Efficiency that saves you time and money;

-No hidden fees, no careless crew;

Rates for moving: $130–$200/hr depending on the specifics of your move. Every quote is based on a real look at your home, not an optimistic phone guess.
