Then you get 10 weeks of training with Red Deer Polytechnic where you will get a chance to try 5 different trades (you get about a week of hands-on training in each trade). Then you get a 4-week practicum in the trade of your choice. Then we assist with paid job placement.

Training starts Monday, May 4, 2026.

Must be unemployed due to no fault of your own, have your own vehicle and a class 5 driver's license, and be at least 18 years old. You also need to be currently residing in Red Deer or within a 45-minute commute.
