Reports to: Jojo Thomas, Manager
Job Overview
A dynamic team environment at Devonshire Mall is looking for a motivated Line Cook & Crew Member to join the kitchen operations. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced setting, enjoy working with food, and take pride in delivering high-quality meals to customers.
Key Responsibilities
• Food Preparation: Prepare ingredients, follow standardized recipes, and ensure all food items are cooked to the highest standards.
• Kitchen Operations: Manage the line during peak hours, ensuring orders are completed accurately and efficiently.
• Quality Control: Maintain high standards of food presentation and taste.
• Cleanliness & Safety: Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations (HACCP). Keep the workstation, equipment, and kitchen area clean throughout the shift.
• Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Inventory Support: Assist in receiving stock and monitoring inventory levels to minimize waste.
Requirements
• Experience: Previous experience in a kitchen or fast-casual environment is preferred, but we are willing to train candidates with a great attitude.
• Availability: Flexible part-time availability, including weekends and mall holiday hours.
• Skills: Ability to work quickly under pressure and stand for extended periods.
• Certification: Valid Food Handler’s Certificate is an asset.
• Reliability: Strong work ethic and punctual attendance are essential.
