Backyard Escape Studios is hiring a temporary installation and shop helper for approximately two months, with the possibility of more for the right person.
We build custom garden sheds, backyard studios, cabanas, and pergolas for homeowners across Ontario. Our shop is in Port Stanley.
You need a valid driver's licence and a clean driving record, the ability to drive with a trailer, and comfort with power tools and basic construction. Framing or siding experience is an asset. You need to be physically capable and reliable.
We hire on character. We are not looking for someone who just gets through the day. We want someone who pays attention, asks the right questions, and makes the work better. Growth is always recognized and rewarded here.
Newcomers to Canada with a construction background are welcome to apply.
Pay starts at $23 per hour. Some overnight stays are required and accommodations are covered. A trial day can be arranged if you want to see the work first.
