Job Overview

SkyFred Security & Investigation Services Ltd is seeking professional, dependable, and vigilant Security Guards to join our growing team across Ontario. Successful candidates will play a key role in protecting people, property, and assets by maintaining a visible security presence, monitoring activities, and responding effectively to incidents and safety concerns.

We are looking for individuals who are professional, alert, customer-focused, and capable of working in fast-paced environments while upholding high standards of accountability and conduct.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct regular foot and mobile patrols to monitor premises and identify suspicious activity or security risks
- Monitor CCTV and surveillance systems to maintain awareness of all assigned areas
- Control access points and verify authorized entry to properties or restricted areas
- Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, alarms, emergencies, and security concerns
- Enforce site policies, procedures, and safety regulations
- Complete detailed incident reports, daily activity logs, and occurrence documentation
- Provide a professional and visible security presence while assisting visitors, staff, and clients
- Identify and report hazards, security breaches, or unsafe conditions
- Support loss prevention efforts through observation and proactive monitoring
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, emergency services, and law enforcement when required

Requirements & Qualifications

- Valid Ontario Security Guard License (Required)
- Valid First Aid & CPR Certification is considered an asset
- Previous experience in security, customer service, law enforcement, or related fields is preferred
- Strong knowledge of surveillance systems, access control, and security procedures
- Excellent observation, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
- Ability to remain calm, professional, and composed in high-pressure situations
- Strong report writing and documentation skills
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods

Must be able to pass a background check
Availability for days, nights, weekends, and holidays may be required depending on site assignments
