PLEASE READ ENTIRE AD> This 1981 K5 Blazer Silverado Edition came to me virtually rust free from Oklahoma about 4 years ago (I have all the pictures to prove it) with 109K original miles. After restoring the body and paint to the original colour, I replaced all the mechanical components that needed to be replaced for it to be safe and certified to drive. I then restored the removable hardtop' both inside and outside to a level of none other that I've seen. The custom made interior upholstery (Not cheap replaceable seat cover kits), door panels and carpeting were replaced with the best materials and skilled labour I could find. I also had the rear panels custom made to my specifications and added new seat belts as well. There is way too much to list as far as new parts but many are visible in the photos. Some are not, like sound deadener (see photo) from the firewall back to and including the tailgate. This provides a much quieter ride than you would normally expect from a vehicle of this age. This was the first year for automatic front locking hubs and the introduction of the aluminum transfer case. I built this truck for my own use and enjoyed it when the weather permitted. Everything is still a fresh build and I believe that a serious buyer would want to schedule a time to come see a truck of this caliber, asking $53,500-, obo.
