Horvath Landscapes is looking for a knowledgeable plant specialist to help care for and maintain some of the most beautiful residential landscape projects in the GTA.

This is an ideal role for:

A retiree from landscaping, horticulture, or gardening
Someone who genuinely enjoys plants and being outdoors
A horticulturalist looking for flexible part-time hours
Someone who takes pride in detail and caring for high-end properties
What You’ll Be Doing
Planting and transplanting shrubs, perennials, and small trees
Garden maintenance and seasonal cleanups
Pruning and shaping plants properly
Monitoring plant health and identifying issues early
Helping maintain completed landscape projects
Assisting with small enhancement projects and planting installs
Occasionally helping clients understand how to care for their landscapes
What We’re Looking For
Strong plant knowledge and attention to detail
Ability to work independently
Friendly and professional with clients
Reliable transportation
Experience in horticulture, gardening, landscaping, or nursery work
Schedule
Flexible part-time hours
Approximately 10–15 hours per week (a little more in spring if your available)
Primarily weekdays
Spring through fall, with possibility of ongoing seasonal work
