We are currently hiring an experienced and safety-focused LCV (Long Combination Vehicle) AZ Driver to join a transportation team in Mississauga, Ontario. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating LCV combinations with 2 x 53’ trailers between Mississauga and Kingston while ensuring safe, efficient, and on-time deliveries in compliance with all provincial and federal transportation regulations. This position involves daily highway runs and may require overnight or extended driving schedules based on operational requirements.

Job Details

Key Responsibilities
* Safely operate LCV tractor-trailer combinations with 2 x 53’ trailers
* Complete pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections
* Transport freight between terminals and customer locations efficiently and safely
* Ensure freight is properly secured and all documentation is accurate
* Maintain electronic logbooks, trip sheets, and delivery records
* Follow all MTO, DOT, CVOR, and company safety policies and procedures
* Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and operations staff
* Report mechanical issues, delays, incidents, or safety concerns promptly
* Adhere to delivery schedules while maintaining safe driving practices
* Perform highway and long-distance runs between Mississauga and Kingston daily

Qualifications & Requirements
* Valid Ontario AZ Driver’s License
* Valid LCV Driver Certification
* Minimum 2 years of verifiable LCV tractor-trailer driving experience (mandatory)
* Experience operating 2 x 53’ trailer combinations
* Strong highway driving experience
* Clean CVOR abstract and driver’s abstract
* Strong understanding of transportation safety regulations and compliance
* Excellent communication and time-management skills
* Ability to work flexible schedules as required
