Northern Edge Groundworks is a fast-growing, premium landscape construction company based in Calgary. We
doubled in size last season and we're not slowing down. We work on high-end residential and commercial projects —
complete tearouts and rebuilds of outdoor spaces. We don't cut corners, we don't take on work we don't believe in, and

Foreman / Lead Hand

We need a lead hand who actually leads — not from the sidelines. You'll be hands-on with the crew every single
day, setting the pace and the standard on high-end jobsites across Calgary. If you take real pride in craft and can
bring that energy to the people around you, this is your role.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Lead a landscape construction crew daily on premium residential and commercial projects
Work hands-on every day — paving, retaining walls, grading, site prep, and finishing
Set the quality bar on site and hold the crew to it, consistently
Manage day-to-day site flow and communicate directly with the owner
Represent Northern Edge with the professionalism our premium clients expect
Inspire your crew to keep pace and take pride in every project we deliver
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
Proven hands-on experience in landscape construction or hardscape
A genuine passion for the outdoors and skilled trades — this isn't just a job for you
Natural leadership that raises the energy and work ethic of people around you
Physically capable and ready to push hard in demanding outdoor conditions
Reliable, punctual, and honest — integrity is non-negotiable here
Own vehicle to get yourself to site each day

Skilled Labourer

Let's be straight — landscape hardscape is some of the hardest physical work you can do. Slinging paving bricks
all day in the summer sun is demanding, relentless, and genuinely tough. We know that. We need someone who
knows it too, and shows up for it every single day without hesitation.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Full days of physical labour on high-end paving, wall, and grading projects
Working alongside a tight, fast-moving crew on premium residential sites in Calgary
Moving material, setting stone, and keeping pace on demanding installations
Following the lead hand's direction and delivering consistent, quality work
Contributing to a professional jobsite where every detail matters to the client
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
An exceptional work ethic — this is the most important thing, full stop
The physical ability to perform demanding outdoor labour, day in, day out
Reliability — on time, ready to go, every day without excuses
Positive attitude and willingness to push hard as part of a team
Own vehicle to get to site
Landscape or construction experience is an asset — but we'll train the right person
