Job description:
We are seeking a dedicated Landscape Maintenance Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing outdoor landscapes through. This role requires hands-on experience with landscape maintenance equipment and a strong understanding of plant care and outdoor construction techniques. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, contributing to the beautification and health of outdoor spaces.
Responsibilities
* Perform landscape maintenance including mowing, trimming, pruning, planting, etc.
* Operate power tools for landscaping projects.
* Install and maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns
* Use hand tools and mechanical equipment for planting, soil preparation, and general landscape tasks
* Identify issues requiring attention or repair
* Assist with construction projects related to landscape improvements or installations.
* Maintain cleanliness and safety standards across ait work sites
* Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
Experience
* Prior experience in gardening and landscape maintenance is preferred but, we are open to training new and young prospects.
* Knowledge of irrigation systems, mechanical tools, hand tools, and power tools is highly desirable
* Driving trucks with a cargo trailers is a plus.
* Experience with construction or outdoor maintenance projects is beneficial
* Ability to operate machinery safely and efficiently in outdoor environments
* Mechanical knowledge related to landscape equipment maintenance is advantageous
