Motivated Farm Hand Ready to Relocate and Train Free
Description
Hello,
I am a reliable, highly motivated 19-year-old seeking a permanent, full-time position on a farm or agricultural operation anywhere in Saskatchewan. I am completely ready to relocate immediately to any rural area. I have my own car, my bags are already packed, and I can drive down to start working the moment a position is confirmed.
To show my commitment and ensure a seamless transition, I am more than happy to undergo on-site training before officially onboarding to my position at absolutely no cost to your farm. This allows me to learn your specific setup, equipment, and routines safely and efficiently on my own time.
I am holding a valid Post-Graduation Work Permit and am specifically looking for a long-term role that can support my pathway toward permanent residency under the SINP Agriculture Talent Pathway. I am single, have no restrictions on my time, and am fully prepared to work demanding 12-hour shifts, weekends, and long hours during peak seeding, spraying, and harvest seasons. I possess a valid driver's license, am happy to haul grain, and am highly motivated to obtain a Class 1A license immediately to support your operations.
I bring a unique combination of hands-on farming experience and strong technical skills as a graduate Mechanical Engineering Technician:
Machinery Maintenance & Repair: Due to my engineering background, I am highly proficient in shop work, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance. I have experience checking belts and chains, greasing parts, repairing hydraulics, and blowing out dust and debris to prevent breakdowns and fires during critical harvest times.
Tractor & Equipment Operation: Experienced driving John Deere 5 Series tractors. I am skilled in using front loaders for moving heavy materials and running attachments such as brush hogs and rotary tillers. I prioritize safety checks and proper equipment handling at all times.
Seeding & Harvest Operations: Proficient with manual seeding, soil mixing, and operating vacuum seeders for high-volume plug trays. I have worked as a harvest helper focusing on grain movement and equipment care.
Spraying & Chemical Safety: One year of experience operating gasoline-powered field sprayers and backpack sprayers across farm and greenhouse sites. Fully trained in WHMIS safety protocols and proper PPE usage for applying safe, Class D chemicals (such as insecticidal soaps, sulfur, and hydrogen peroxide).
Livestock Care: Experienced working in demanding dairy and beef cattle environments. My duties have included monitoring watering systems, fixing automated gate sensors, keeping digital health records, and handling livestock.
I take great pride in mechanical accuracy, safety, and a strong work ethic
.
I am looking for a serious, professional employer where I can commit long-term and become a valuable, permanent asset to the daily operations of your farm.
If you have a permanent position available in Saskatchewan, please contact me through this ad or call/text me directly at 437-962-6096. I can send my resume and references upon request.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
