Only two hundred 2007 Canadian spec XJ’s were built making this a comparatively rare model. The value of 2007 Jaguar XJs is appreciating. This car embodies the Jaguar motto of ‘Grace, Pace, Space.’ It is a dream to drive.

Built in December 2016, the vehicle is well equipped with Heated 14-way power front Connolly hide leather seats, heated rear Connolly hide leather seats, dual zone climate control, power tilt moonroof, navigation, Alpine premium audio system, 6 Disc CD changer, rear seat audio system controls, steering wheel controls, power tilt / telescopic steering wheel, power windows, power door locks, Cruise control, Keyless entry, Wood trim and steering wheel, Wood rear tray tables, Fog lamps, 18-inch Alloy wheels. 4.2 litre V8 engine with 6 speed shiftable automatic transmission rated by the factory at 294bhp / 303lb-ft of torque.

Current owner since 2010. In that time, the car has been stored in a heated underground car park from the beginning of December to mid-April most years. Most maintenance has been carried out by Jaguar dealerships from the time the car was new.

The bodywork and trim on this car is generally good though there are a few minor blemishes to the paintwork. The engine and transmission are good. The interior has a few signs of wear including degraded leather on parts of the driver’s seat.

Keyless entry is not working (the fob is worn) keyless locking is still functional.

The parking/proximity sensors are not functional.

The headliner is sagging in a few places.

One of the rear speakers is blown.

Some of the leather panels on the driver’s seat are cracking and there is a small hole in the leather.

One of the three lambswool passenger footwell rugs is somewhat worn, the drivers footwell rug needs repair or replacement.

The brakes are squeaky on hot days (or if they are warm) but work effectively.

Both the front headlight spray-washer directors are missing.

The Check Engine light is currently on. It comes on or goes off from time to time. Car runs fine.

The car is branded as ‘Salvaged.’ In November 2018, while it was parked, a tree fell near the car. Damage was superficial, amounting to many small dents and scratches, a broken side mirror and a broken tail light. The running of the car was unaffected; however, the job of repairing the damage was extensive, leading the insurance company to write it off. The car was repaired at Steele Collision Centre, Halifax. Receipts and a description of the work are available.
