We are looking for a Maintenannce Mechanic for a metal company located in Brampton at Steeles and Advance Blvd. Its is temp to permanent position 30 per hour paid weekly with overtime.

Some of the duties and knowledge that the company is looking for is:

1. Deep understanding of troubleshooting Mechanical and electrical problems
2. solve issues on your own with litte supervision
3. Know how to do preventative maintenance in both mechanical and electrical
4. knows basic electrical works like changing lights, outlets and switches
5. Hands on experience using welding machines Mig or Tig is a MUST because there will be metal fabrication projects
6. knowledge to read understand and intercept blueprints on both mechanical and electrical drawings
7. experience using the lock-out/tag- out procedures
8. know how to replace bearings belts chain rollers drive shafts motors gearboxes air hoses air fittings air gauges air cyclinders solenoid valves and etc.
9. knowldge of spot peening machines is an asset but not required


The candidate must be willing to work long hours, own your own tools, able to work in a team as well as individually. At least minimum three years in a machine/metal shop or warehouse, Good communication and writing in the english language.

Have an active forklift and working with heights certificate.
