We are looking for a reliable and compassionate Healthcare Aide to provide care for a friendly adult male quadriplegic who uses a power wheelchair. This is a family-managed care position based in a private home.

DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Transfer out of bed into wheelchair using ceiling track lift
- Assist with personal hygiene care and daily living activities
- Administer medications and monitor health status
- Document and report health concerns to family care managers
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding
- Support housekeeping, maintenance, and home safety
- Provide transportation to appointments and errands in wheelchair van
- Offer companionship and emotional support

POSITION DETAILS:
Currently Hiring for Weekday Shifts from 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
- Part-time or Full-time hours available (16-40 hrs/week)
- Pay between $19-24/hr, starting wage determined based on relevant experience

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proficient skills in reading, writing and speaking English
- Possess a valid Class 5F Manitoba Driver's License (strongly preferred)
- Training/Certification in Health Care Aid or Nursing is an asset
- Previous experience in home care or health care is an asset
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with client and family care managers
- Compassionate, attentive, and patient with a commitment to ensuring client dignity
