IF you are looking at other Torrents, make sure the head gasket has been done, or that there is no evidence of a failure.... also the Heater core, these are large expensive jobs that are common to either the 3.4 motor or Torrents in general.... this vehicle has had both replaced (even when turned out probably not to have needed it). Check for good heat, no coolant in the oil, and NO dampness just to the right of the gas pedal on the floor (or smell of coolant in the cabin).
