**Electrical Technician — Industrial Power Generation**

*Part-time / casual, with progression to full-time*

ADV Energy Rentals operates a 90 unit fleet of generators, light towers, and flameless heaters serving industrial sites across Alberta. We are seeking an electrical technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain this equipment in both shop and field settings.

This position begins as casual, as-needed work and progresses to full-time for the right candidate.

**Responsibilities**

- Diagnose electrical and control faults on diesel generators, light towers, and combo units
- Troubleshoot AVRs, control boards, alternators, and charging/starting systems
- Perform scheduled maintenance, load testing, and pre-deployment inspections
- Repair and replace components to manufacturer and ADV standards
- Maintain accurate service records for all equipment
- Respond to field service calls as required

**Qualifications**

- Demonstrated experience diagnosing and repairing industrial generators and/or light towers
- Strong electrical troubleshooting skills across AC/DC and control circuits
- Familiarity with diesel engine support systems and the ability to work from schematics and technical manuals
- Reliable, safety-focused, and able to work in Alberta shop and field conditions
- Valid driver's licence required; electrical ticket or journeyman certification an asset

**Compensation & Schedule**

- Compensation is variable, dependent on experience
- Flexible casual scheduling to start, with progression to full-time hours
