Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and responsible caregiver to support a 30-year-old woman with autism. The client primarily understands Punjabi, so fluency in Punjabi is required or strongly preferred.

The successful candidate will provide assistance with daily living activities while promoting a safe, comfortable, and engaging environment.

Responsibilities

* Assist with personal care, including showering and hygiene
* Prepare and serve meals and snacks
* Clean and organize the client’s room and personal space
* Accompany the client on walks and community outings
* Engage the client in enjoyable indoor and outdoor activities
* Provide companionship and support throughout the day
* Ensure the client’s safety, comfort, and well-being at all times

Qualifications

* Fluent in Punjabi (required or strongly preferred)
* Valid First Aid and CPR Certification
* Previous caregiving, disability support, or related experience is an asset
* Patient, compassionate, and understanding
* Punctual and dependable
* Honest, respectful, and trustworthy
* Responsible and able to work independently
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
