3D Printer - Creality CR5 Pro Hot
Description
*THIS IS NOT A BEGINNERS MACHINE* If you’re new to 3D printing this one ain’t for you. Just trust me on this. She runs fine the way I have it setup, but the way I have it setup is pretty well only good for nylon/PC (no cooling fan/duct installed, I might still have it somewhere). It also has the 500c Creality Spyder hotend on it (firmware limited to 300c)
I bought this 4-5 years ago when it first came out and was a top of the line consumer machine and it probably only has 400-500 hours on it at most. It’s always been quasi-reliable but don’t get me wrong, the stuff they’re making nowadays would smoke this thing in terms of ease of use so buy something else if this is your first machine. It is powered by a pain in the ass upgraded MicroSwiss bowden extruder — not direct drive — nor is it self-leveling, but it does have a nice metal case with the blue tinted plexiglass, so there’s that.
I havent used it in years and it’s just been taking up space. I wanted to do the direct drive mod (https://youtu.be/Hai_4466XCU?si=A79YYk_1qT5bXZPF) and put Klipper on it and try to turn it into a beast but life doesn’t work out like that sometimes.
I have some spare parts and extra bowden tube and whatnot.
Located in NW Calgary. It’s heavy AF (like 80 pounds) so I *can* deliver it if you need. If you want to see it turn on and move and confirm that it all works then you should just come to my place and I can show you.
